Ryoko TD is a tower defense for 1-8 players. There are up to 4 "teams", so in smaller games, it's possible to either pair up or go solo. Each team has 25 lives. Upon the start of the game, each player picks a certain builder race, and begins to make towers in their area. Each wave of creeps has 2 checkpoints to hit before reaching their goal, so with careful and strategic building, you can maze around these checkpoints to reduce the chances of any leaks. After most waves, there is a mini-game of sorts (similar to Skibi TD). Doing well in these mini-games can award you gold, as well as extra lives.

To win, your team must survive all 30 waves.

All in all, Ryoko TD is a well designed tower defense. It contains mini-games, allows a variety of tower types, and the fun factor is pretty high. Highly Recommended.
