Risk Revolution v3.1

Risk RevolutionRisk Revolution is a popular Risk game. It can be played by anywhere from 2-12 players. There are 3 modes that can be played, Free-For-All, 2-player teams, or Alliance. Free-For-All is the most popular.

In Risk Revolution, unlike the board game, you do not roll dice, and you do not have to take turns attacking. The map is split up into countries, and there are bases in each country. If you control all the bases in a country, your income increases, and you receive free units. Larger countries will net you more income (and more free units), but are more difficult to hold.

The game begins with each base being randomly assigned to a different player. Each player is given a small amount of gold with which to build units for the first turn. Typically in the first turn, players try to see where they have a strong presence (for example 2 or more bases beside each other), and then begin to expand from there. As players expand and conquer entire countries, their income goes up. However, other players are usually watchful and will ally with each other to team up against players who are becoming too strong.

In Risk Revolution, you are not limited by a turn based system. The only effect of having turns in this game is that you receive income once every 60 seconds, at the beginning of each turn. You are free to build and move units whenever you want. When fighting, you can micro-manage your units as well if. It's all done in Real-Time.

Playing Risk Revolution is usually fun. It is based on the board game in certain aspects, and in other aspects it's completely different in design. A great game with even a few players, it gets better and better the more players are added.
